Coming Soon… So you think you know London?

“He who is tired of London is tired of life” – Samuel Johnson

One of the most diverse and dynamic cities in the world just so happens to also be my hometown! Now, of course I consider myself extremely lucky to live in such a fantastic location with so much to see and do… buuut while browsing through Instagram at people lounging on beaches that look suspiciously like paradise itself, it’s easy to forget that there is often so much to explore on your very own doorstep! With that in mind I thought it would be a great excuse to stop moping about how many weeks until I next see the sun again (6.5 to be exact) and get out in my own city to show you around my favourite areas. I also really want to showcase and promote just how diverse London is, which is definitely something to celebrate!

So starting from next week I’ll be sharing my favourite spots in weekly posts… Buckle up and watch this space!

Have you been to London? What are your best tips? What was your favourite location? I’d love to hear from you, and also take any suggestions for series posts! ❤

  1. Wapping! My partner used to live there. Cobbled streets, fantastic industrial buildings turned into cafes and bars and a great pub overlooking the river. Pizza Express used to be in one old building, but we’re talking over 14 years ago.

      1. Yes, St Paul’s is a great area – and one that I don’t get to explore too often as I don’t live or work anywhere near it – I recently discovered the viewing platform at One New Change – have you been there? It gives you a fantastic view over the city, and is completely free!
